Student Led Conference Reflection
PREPARATION: The preparation portion of my SLC was fairly easy for me, as I have always kept my completed and graded work from each class in subject-specific folders. By looking at the grades I received on each piece, it was easy to pick out what needed to be more refined from what had been deemed refined enough.
FOLLOW UP: Since my SLC, I have discussed my progress plenty with my parents, using Power School as evidence. My parents check my individual grades for every assignment in every class just as regularly as I do, so they often reinforce the sense of ownership over my education I already try to practice in myself.
