This project, I learned more about Mexican culture and traditions. It was very interesting to see a different perspective on death than my own.
Exhibition was a hub of activity, which I thought was really cool. It was fun for the community to come together to appreciate and remember the lives of loved ones who have passed. The most challenging part of this project for me was researching my subject, as since I didn't do my project on a family member I had to research a 1930's Mexican composer. The most enjoyable part of this project for me was writing the poem, because I really love Humanities and it was fun to integrate an aspect of that class into Spanish. What I would have done differently on this project would be to allot myself more time. Towards the end I was rather rushed. What I am most proud of about this project is my poem, as I attempted two challenge options to increase its quality. |
